Haripada Punyakala – The Day of Vishnu’s Benevolence
Haripada Punya Kala is the day when Lord Vishnu performed miracles for the universe and is also the day when Vishnu’s infinite compassion flows freer than usual. Lord Vishnu is the maintainer of life and the entire cosmic creation and accessing Vishnu on this powerful day will bless you with Prosperity and Happiness.

Haripada Punya Kala is always marked by the Sun’s transit into a fixed sign.
The Sun enters the sign of Leo on August 17th – this transit is what makes it a ‘Double Vishnu’ time is that  Sun, the lord of the natural 5th house, enters Leo which is his own house means that this placement will bring about eternal joy and material prosperity.

Haripada Punya Kala occurs only 4 times per year when the Sun enters a ‘fixed’ sign. Interestingly, according to Vedic time cycle, each Haripada Punya Kala has a unique celestial configuration which repeats every 60 years.

Sapta Shalaka Chakra

18 Jul
                                                        Om Gurubyo Namaha
                                     SAPTA SHALAKA CHAKRA
 Purpose
  • To identify Nakshatra Veda
  • To predict transit results of planets traversing different Nakshatra vis-à-vis Janma Nakshatra.
 Construction
  • Draw seven horizontal lines from West to East and seven vertical lines from North to South as shown in the diagram below.
  • Staring from North East corner place all 28 Nakshatras including Abhijit at each consecutive ends commencing from Krittika (see diagram)

Sapta Shalaka Chakra

Interpretation
  • Nakshatra opposite to each other causes Nakshatra Veda. For example, Krittika causes Veda to Shravana and vice versa.
  • If the star occupied by the Sun at the time happens to be:
    • The Vedha star to the Janma Nakshatra, there will be apprehension of danger to life.
    • The Adhana Nakshatra (19th from the Janma Nakshatra), there will be fear and anxiety;
    • The  Kharmaksha (10th from the Janma Nakshatra), loss of wealth will take place.
    • If the Sun in the above position be also associated with a malefic, death alone has to be expected.
  • If any one of the three Nakshatras mentioned above be thus afflicted by association of other malefics (other than the Sun) then death may occur;
  • If with benefics, there will be no danger to life. Everything should be judged in the same manner.
  • If the 19th, 10th, 3rd, 1st, 23rd, 5th or 7th (all reckoned from the Janma Nakshatra) are afflicted by malefics during their transit, there will be danger to life. If the planet be benefic, failure in undertaking will be the only result.
  • If the three Nakshatras, namely, the 1st, the 10th and the 19th happen to coincide with the Sun’s entry into a new sign, or with the transit of any other planets from one sign to another, or with an eclipse, planetary war, or a fall of meteors or any other unexpected occurrence, there will be likelihood of death of the native or he will face some similar disaster.

Chandra Kalanala Chakra

14 Jul
                                                              Om Gurubyo Namaha
                                          Chandra Kalanala Chakra
Purpose

This Chakra is used to assess gains and losses, comforts and victory or subjugation on given day. 28 Nakshatras including Abhijit are used here. The location of Janma Nakshatra vis-à-vis the transiting Moon Nakshatra will give the result. This Chakra is mainly used in ‘Prashna’

Construction
  • The chart is constructed in the shape as shown the diagram below.
  • The Transiting Nakshatra in which the Moon is posited is placed at the centre prong of upright trident (No. 1)
  • The remaining 27 Nakshatra including Abhijit should be placed in order (clockwise) as shown in the diagram.
  • The results are tabulated for different placement of Janma Nakshatra vis-a-vis Transiting Moon’s Nakshatra

Chandra Kalalnala Chakra

Readings

Normal Method
If Janma Nakshatra is posited in different parts of diagram, the results will be as follows:
  •  Any of the tridents: Highly inauspicious.
  •  Outside the circle: Average results.
  • Inside the circle: Auspicious results.
Second  Method
  •  If the Prashna Chart, Moon Nakshatra is posited in 8th, 15th & 22nd Nakshatra from native’s Janma Nakshatra (No. 1) the answer to query will be negative.
  •  If the Prashna Chart Nakshatra of  Lagna Lord  is posited in 8th, 15th & 22nd Nakshatra from native’s Janma Nakshatra (No. 1) the answer to query will be negative.
  • The result thus obtained will fructify within 72 hours from Prashna time.
